Uno de sus objetivos es el de resaltar la interacción del diálogo entablado con cualquier material como también una invitación a reflexionar sobre la diversidad –y validez- de la percepción.
Cada pieza nos cuenta una historia y nos ofrece varias lecturas.
“ROJO – NEGRO, joyas”
Colección de joyería argentina contemporánea que consta de piezas realizadas totalmente, o en gran parte, en ROJO y/o NEGRO, en la que participan 20 diseñadores.
Dos colores como una justificación para jugar y destacar otras características de la materia como el brillo y la opacidad, la rugosidad y la suavidad, el reflejo de la luz sobre los diferentes materiales y superficies.
El color como limitación, como una restricción oulipiana, para iniciar la exploración de las posibilidades de la materia y las sensaciones que surgen de las diferencias y similitudes.
Es una exhibición itinerante que se podrá visitar en Sevilla, Madrid (España), Neuchâtel (Suiza), Leiden (Holanda).

“RED – BLACK, jewelry” is a collection of contemporary Argentine jewelry that consists of pieces made entirely, or in large part, in RED and / or BLACK, in which 20 designers participate.
One of its objectives is to highlighting the interaction of the dialogue with any material and also an invitation to rethink the diversity -and validity- of the perception.
Every single piece tells us a story and offer us several readings.
Two colors as a justification to play with and highlight other characteristics of the materials as the shinyness and the opacity, the roughness and the smoothness, the reflection of the light on the different materials and surfaces. The color as a constraint, like an Oulipian restriction, to begin the exploration of possibilities of the material and the sensations that comes out from differences and similarities.

Semblanza de Luis Acosta
El diseñador textil y de joyas, argentino-holandés, Luis Acosta se graduó en 1988 en el departamento textil de la Academia Gerrit Rietveld de Amsterdam.
Ha participado en exposiciones en grupo e individuales en casi toda Europa, Argentina, EE.UU., Japón y Corea del Sur.
Hay obras suyas en el Museo de Arte y Diseño (Nueva York, EEUU), Museo del Traje (Buenos Aires, RA), Museo CODA (Apeldoorn, NL), Museo Textil (Tilburg, NL) y Centro de Bellas Artes (Utrecht, NL), además en colecciones privadas de Argentina, España, Finlandia, India, Noruega Venezuela, EEUU y Holanda.
Ha publicado diversos artículos entre los que se destacan aquellos que tratan sobre su propio método de diseño textil en las revistas holandesa Textiel Plus y española Oficio+arte.
Tradujo del neerlandés al castellano el libro Siira (faja tejida de los indios Wayuu) de Mirja Wark
Ha comisariado y ha sido miembro de jurado de varias exposiciones en España y en Holanda.
Confecciona tapices y trabajos varios ambos tridimensionales. Diseña y teje tapices y géneros. Diseña y confecciona: complementos de moda y joyas en papel.
Fue corresponsal de las revistas textiles Arte Facto y Tramemos, española y argentina respectivamente.
Imparte cursos sobre diseño textil y diseño de joyas en papel en Argentina, Austria, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, España, Francia, EE.UU. y Holanda.
